YouTube has become a popular platform for those who want to show their talents. Whether it’s a cooking lesson, product reviews, skits, or pranks, YouTube is the place where millions of viewers enjoy their free time. We recently got in touch with the rising prank duo Normel TV. Normel TV is a YouTube channel that creates pranks and social experiments. This is what they had to say.

Can you tell us a bit about yourselves and how Normel TV started?

We are Daniel & Vlad, two Russian guys living in Sweden. We met in school in the third grade and have been friends since then. We always came up with some crazy stuff to film and got in trouble because of it. It was a lot of fun doing videos, but we never came up with the idea to open up a YouTube channel until the summer of 2013. That’s when Normel TV started. We were big fans of other pranksters and wanted to do something similar.

Normel TV is not only about funny pranks, but also about social experiments. Social experiments like rape and racism have important messages behind them. Are they making a difference?

To solve a problem in a society you first have to acknowledge it. There is no better way to show it than through a social experiment. We show real reactions and make our viewers really question themselves. We feel that we make a difference, especially when people write to us and tell us how they got inspired.

Do you think anyone has what it takes to become a YouTube star?

We wouldn’t consider ourselves YouTube stars, but to achieve anything you want in life, there is only one key factor; determination.

Do you have any plans for Normel TV’s future?

We have a lot of new and original ideas coming, so don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss any of them.
